Why we started this AI agency.

Sell Stack AI was founded on the Sunshine Coast with one observation: small business owners are the hardest working people in the economy, and the most underserved by technology.

They're running a business, managing staff, quoting jobs, chasing payments — and somehow supposed to be doing their own marketing too. Every platform promises to help but delivers complexity. Every AI consultancy and agency promises results but delivers reports.

We started by asking a different question: what if AI for business actually worked — and the owner barely had to think about it?

That question led to the Sell Stack — a suite of AI-powered systems built specifically around the reality of running a small business. Not enterprise tools scaled down. Not generic SaaS subscriptions. An AI agency that builds, manages, and optimises real systems with a real team behind them.

We work with small businesses across Australia, and we're selective about who we take on — because doing this properly for a smaller number of clients produces better results than doing it poorly for many.

James

Co-Founder · AI Systems & Marketing

James is a Sunshine Coast-based AI automation and marketing specialist. He founded Sell Stack AI after seeing firsthand how much time and money small businesses were losing to manual processes — and recognising that the AI tools to fix it already existed. They just needed to be properly configured and managed.

James works directly with every client on AI strategy and implementation. There's no account manager hand-off — when you work with Sell Stack AI, you get direct access to the people who built your system.

Ross

Co-Founder · Technology & Business Strategy

Ross brings deep expertise in technology and AI across Australian business. His background gives Sell Stack AI a sharp commercial lens — ensuring every AI system we recommend is genuinely right for the client's situation and goals, not just the easiest thing to build.

Ross oversees business strategy and client outcomes, with a focus on making sure AI for small business delivers measurable ROI — not just interesting technology.
